Meet DC MORBY

DC MORBY

DC MORBY has spent a lifetime building businesses, leading organizations, overcoming adversity, and helping people navigate major life decisions. His experiences in business, education, leadership, and personal growth became the foundation for the V16 Framework. Today, his mission is to make these principles available to anyone seeking a better future.

My Story

Like many people, I began my adult life with big dreams and a willingness to work hard. I married an incredible woman, and together we built a life centered on faith, family, and perseverance. Over the years we were blessed with twelve children, and today we enjoy the blessing of twenty-seven grandchildren.

Professionally, life seemed to be unfolding exactly as I had hoped. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, later completed an MBA, and built a successful career in business. I had the privilege of leading organizations, serving as a CEO, starting businesses, and working alongside talented people. From the outside, it appeared that everything was falling perfectly into place.

Then, almost overnight, everything changed.

The events surrounding 9/11 sent my industry into a financial freefall. What followed was a series of business failures and legal issues that ultimately cost me my career, my reputation, and much of what I had spent a lifetime building.

Losing everything has a way of changing your perspective.

It forced me to ask questions I had never seriously considered before. What truly determines the direction of a life? Why do some people rebuild while others give up? What principles remain true when everything familiar has been stripped away?

Those questions became the beginning of a new journey.

Starting over was not easy, but it taught me something I had never fully understood before: your greatest assets are not the things you own, but the principles you live by.

Beginning with very little, I rebuilt my life one decision at a time. I founded a new contracting business that grew into a multi-million-dollar company, serving thousands of homeowners and creating opportunities for others along the way. The comeback didn't happen overnight. It happened through thousands of small decisions, consistent action, and an unwavering belief that your future does not have to be determined by your past.

That experience became living proof that the principles I was discovering were more than good ideas—they worked in real life.

I came to realize that our future is shaped less by the circumstances we face than by the choices we make in response to them. Every day presents a new opportunity to learn, to grow, to serve others, and to become something greater than we were yesterday.

Those experiences eventually led to the development of the V16 Leadership Platform—a framework built around sixteen principles designed to help people navigate life's most important decisions. They also inspired the GO Movement, founded on a simple but powerful truth: every one of us has the remarkable, God-given power to choose. GO doesn't replace that power—it supercharges it. When we act on meaningful choices, our lives begin to change.

Today, my mission is to share these principles with individuals, families, organizations, and communities. My hope is that others can learn from both my successes and my failures, discover the power they already possess, and build a future defined not by their past, but by the choices they make today.

I don't believe our past has to define our future.

I believe every person has the power to choose.

And when that choice is followed by action...

GO.
